Bulimba Bowls Club has a variety of bowls events for competition bowlers.
TUESDAY MEN’S SELF SELECT PAIRS
Our regular Tuesday Men’s Self-select Pairs is popular with our members and members from other clubs. This event offers two games of pairs with cash prizes for winner of winners, runner up winners and winner of the losers.
The last Tuesday of each month is Super Tuesday where cash prizes are double for the day.

WEDNESDAY MIXED COMPETITION
On Wednesdays, we have a Mixed competition open to men and women members of all bowls clubs. Competitions vary depending on numbers of players.

THURSDAY IS SCROUNGERS’ DAY
Thursday is Scroungers’ day where we play a modified competition over six ends followed by a final of the winners of each rink with cash prizes for the winner and runner up. Players play 3 bowls singles in groups of three or four, scoring 3 points for shot, 2 points for 2nd shot and 1 point for 3rd shot. These events are open to male and female registered bowlers from all clubs.

FRIDAY TWILIGHT MEN”S SELF-SELECT PAIRS
On Friday we play Twilight Men’s Self-select Pairs which is usually two 1 hour games with cash prizes for winner of winners and winner of losers.

Start: 3.00pm – 4:00 pm (depending on season)
Dress: As you are (bowls shoes or barefoot only)

Saturdays at the Club
On Saturday we have social competition bowls for members plus at various times during the year we have Club Championship, interclub Pennants, Super Challenge, Gateway Shield and Bulimba Cup competitions on the greens.
Sundays at the Club
Apart from special events and club championship singles matches (played on Sunday mornings) Sunday is for social and barefoot bowls only.
AVAILABILITY
There are no events scheduled for Mondays but the club is open from 3.00pm and greens are available for social bowls/rollups.
Subject to availability, greens are available for rollups and barefoot bowls at any time that the club is open. Check with the club for availability.
